Terms & Conditions

The artist retains full copyright on all artwork that is produced, including mock-ups and prints. This means I can create prints and calendars using the image of the artwork created. When a portrait is commissioned I reserve the right to display it in my website gallery and on my social media pages. Clients who do not wish their commissioned portrait to be shown online must notify me before work commences.

Payment

To commission a portrait, payment must be made in full before the drawing of the portrait can begin. You can also pay via monthly instalments as long as payments are complete for the drawing of the portrait is due to start. I accept PayPal or Credit Cards via a PayPal invoice for international payment and bank transfer for UK payments. Most items are shipped within 3-5 business days from portrait completion.Please be aware that I work on a first come first serve basis and waiting times can take up to 4 months so please contact me to make sure your portrait can be complete and delivered in the time you need.

Shipping

All orders are shipped securely with a tracking number to the address you provide. If the item is a gift, it can be shipped directly to the recipient. Please indicate the address at the time of the order.

Cancellations

Clients have a 7 day money back guarantee from the date of paying their first instalment/in full to cancel their order, in which they will receive a full refund. Cancellations must be made by email, upon cancellation clients will lose their place in my waiting list.

If clients cancel their order after 7 days have passed, the payment amount will be retained as loss of business, to cover the artist’s time, administration, emails, mock-ups, payment fees.

If clients cancel their order and work has commenced on the portrait, all payments be retained to cover the artist time, administration, materials used.

Changes and rejection of finished portrait

On receiving an approved portrait, clients have 7 days to contact me about any required changes. If the portrait needs returning for alterations the client must cover the necessary shipping charges both ways.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed against any commission or items for sale in my online shop. Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Damage in Transit

My portraits are packaged extremely well however in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit please send a photo of the damaged artwork immediately. Depending on the extent of the damage, the artwork must be returned to me and a new portrait will be drawn at no cost. The new portrait will be added to my client waiting list.

Lead Time

I often have a client waiting list and lead time will depend on the time of year and number of other portraits booked in my schedule. I will provide an estimated completion date upon your enquiry. For specific dates (e.g. for a birthday) I will try my best to accommodate any special request.

Privacy Policy

The artist will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

Prints

Whilst every care has been taken to assure accuracy of reproduction of prints according to their originals, the artist cannot guarantee a 100% likeness due to scanning settings, individual monitor/screen settings.

VAT & Import Duty

All items for sale including commission are not subject to Value Added Tax. Payment of import duty may be liable in some countries, which is the sole responsibility of the client.
